This transformation in the economy is having an impact on our entire society and therefore also on our region.  <\/p>\n<p>Main Franconia is known for its strong economy, particularly in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, biotechnology and tourism. Despite past crises, quite a few companies have developed rapidly and have grown into new &#8220;hidden champions&#8221; that are helping to shape the European, if not the global market. And yet many new medium-sized companies have emerged, representing the innovative strength of the region.  <\/p>\n<p>With renowned companies and research institutions, the region also offers attractive jobs and opportunities for innovation. The good transport infrastructure and proximity to international markets contribute to its economic strength.
