Am Produktionsstandort im unterfränkischen Knetzgau produziert Coca- Cola in einem seiner größten Werke in Deutschland Getränke auf fünf Produktionslinien, die weitgehend in die Region geliefert werden – nach Ober- und Unterfranken sowie in weitere Teile Süddeutschlands.

All das passiert auf der 200.000 Quadratmeter großen Fläche von Coca- Cola in Knetzgau. Drei Millionen Flaschen sind 2021 täglich vom Band gelaufen – das sind knapp 600 Mio. Flaschen im Jahr. Darunter Klassiker wie Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar und Fanta, aber auch spezielle Sorten wie Fanta Mandarine und Coca-Cola Cherry. Seit 2021 wird auch ein neuer Glasflaschentyp abgefüllt: die 0,4-Liter-Mehrweg-Glasflasche.
At its production site in Knetzgau in Lower Franconia, Coca-Cola produces beverages on five production lines at one of its largest factories in Germany, which are largely supplied to the region – to Upper and Lower Franconia as well as to other parts of southern Germany.
Producing, storing drinks and preparing them for transport: all this happens on the 200,000 square metre Coca-Cola site in Knetzgau. Three million bottles rolled off the production line every day in 2021 – that’s almost 600 million bottles a year. These include classics such as Coca- Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Fanta, but also special flavours such as Fanta Mandarine and Coca-Cola Cherry. A new type of glass bottle has also been filled since 2021: the 0.4-litre returnable glass bottle.
